Dreaming BIGGER than big.

03 March, 2015

Hi friends! Nat here and welcome to our very first post after the launch! {Very exciting!} It's been a biiiig weekend over here at The Writer's Ink! We're loving our new home and new look... do you like it?! :) It's been a long labour of love and I have been busting to show it to you! The Launch Event at West Elm on Friday night was so gorgeous. Oh my goodness, it was better than I had even imagined... {well, I always say everything will be, so I really shouldn't be surprised should I? But it really did exceed my expectations.} This image below wasn't from the launch... {pics coming next week eek!} but it just reminds me of the beautiful atmosphere we created... Ah so dreamy.

So yesterday I was thinking about this website and all that happened over the weekend, and I suddenly thought, "Shivers. I did it. I actually did it". After almost a year of dreaming, of living in New York writing my book, planning this website, writing it out on a million Dreams Lists, it has actually happened. In the beginning, as with most dreams, I wasn't sure how, or what it would look like. Do you have dreams like this? Maybe you don't even know what yours are yet? Keep stirring and awakening your heart my friend, and you will :) {Note: we're friends, so please feel free to contact me anytime about your dreams, I'd love to help you stir them up!}

One of the most important things to know is, don't feel like you need to know everything at once. Whether you're believing for miracle finances, a new home, to travel, for healing in your body, to start a business, to write a book... just start small. Sowing seeds is powerful and God will help you. :)

With this website, I just took baby steps. Honestly, I wasn't really sure what the heck I was doing in the beginning lol! I just took a step, then asked a few questions, then another step, and another... then before I knew it, last Friday night The {brand new} Writer's Ink was birthed. So it's a journey I'm super proud of, and each lovely message of encouragement and congratulations I've received over this weekend has reminded me that Mr Disney was very right...

I've found myself shaking my head, chuckling to myself that now the third dream on my "Anything Can Happen" list has actually happened. {Travelling overseas two years ago was the first, and this was the second}. So then I thought, "Okay, well, what do I do now that this dream has happened? Hmmm..... I guess I just.... dream... bigger?"

My fav bit of the bible is where God promises us that he can actually do "superabundantly far over and above all we dare ask or think; infinitely beyond our highest thoughts, prayers, dreams or thoughts, hopes or dreams" (Ephesians 3:20) It's not about being greedy, it's simply about living in fullness and having the abundant resources we need to do what's in our hearts.

As I mentioned to a friend of mine last night... Dreaming starts in the mind. When we can actually fathom that there are NO limits when we dream with God... THAT'S when big things happen. I am standing with you and believing that every single dream on your Dream List is going to happen. {Oh, and you actually need to have a Dream List to see them come to pass ;) }

So stir it up my friends. Today is the day you take the limits off and dream BIGGER than ever before.

Love Nat xo

    Nat, I love the new website! It is truly amazing and looks so refreshing. Thank you for your words of wisdom last night, you are so right! Dreaming starts in the mind. I have decided to take some time off and really begin to stir up new dreams that I know are deep in my heart. I'm going to start a new list, and at the top write ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN, and see what comes. Have an amazing day knowing you have encouraged someone today xxx
